New capabilities in 5.0 include:

  • New PDF library for Universal Windows Platform (UWP): The new PDF library is packaged as a Windows Runtime Component for developers who need to develop applications for UWP on Windows 10 PC, tablet, phone, and other devices.
  • PDFium API support: Now it is easy port your PDFium applications to Foxit PDF SDK, the commercially supported and feature-rich alternative.
