How many AI credits do I get?

With AI Assistant, you receive 2,000 credits per month. If you're a PDF Editor or Editor+ subscriber without the AI add-on, you get 20 credits/month included.

What counts as an AI credit?

Each AI action (summarize, translate, chat response, etc.) uses one credit. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over.

Can I use credits on ai.foxit.com?

Yes. Your paid AI Assistant credits work both in the desktop/mobile apps and on the ai.foxit.com web platform.

What about Smart Redact?

AI credits don't apply to Smart Redact, which is a separate feature included with PDF Editor+. Learn more about Smart Redact

Why isn't AI Assistant available for perpetual licenses?

AI Assistant requires cloud processing and ongoing infrastructure, which is supported through subscription billing.
