One-click PDF Creation from Any File

Foxit PDF Editor can create any kind of printable files to PDF simply by dragging the file into the program window; alternatively, you can use Foxit PDF Editor to quickly convert files to PDF directly from within Windows® Explorer. 

To create a PDF with one click:

  • Drag the documents(s) you want to convert on to the Foxit PDF Editor desktop icon .

  • If the Foxit PDF Editor is open, drag the file(s) directly into the application window. 

  • Right-click the document(s) you want to convert, and choose Convert to PDF in Foxit PDF Editor. The created files will be opened in Foxit PDF Editor, and you can save them manually. Note: If you have selected the Keep original file names and locations option in the Convert Multiple Files dialog box in the previous conversion, the created files will be saved in the same names and locations as the original files. 

  • Right-click the document(s) you want to convert, and choose Combine files in Foxit PDF Editor… to convert multiple files into a single PDF or a PDF portfolio. See also Convert and combine multiple files into a single PDF or a PDF portfolio.

Tip: By right-clicking a folder and choosing Combine files in Foxit PDF Editor…, you can merge the files in the folder into a single PDF or a PDF portfolio. See also Convert and combine multiple files into a single PDF or a PDF portfolio
