About AIP Protect

Foxit PDF Editor AIP Protect feature provides seamless integration with Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services to protect PDF documents from unauthorized use and manage rights policy templates. Document authors can restrict users to open, read, modify or redistribute certain information. If you are authorized you can use Foxit PDF Editor to open an AIP-Protected document to improve information security and meet compliance requirements.

Once installed, Foxit PDF Editor will extend all Microsoft AIP service to all PDF files.

Note: If you open a PDF which is encrypted by the AIP Protect feature of Foxit PDF Editor with other PDF programs, a wrapper (which is actually a PDF page) will prompt you to download Foxit PDF Reader/Editor to open the PDF.
