This past April, Foxit initiated a Rapid Security Response Team with the sole focus of examining and resolving any attacks on the PDF technology. The Rapid Security Response team has thoroughly tested the recent zero day exploit and has confirmed that the Foxit Reader is not at risk. The zero day exploit attacks a specific component which uses CoolType font within Adobe Reader. Foxit Reader does not utilize this component and all tests have confirmed that Foxit Reader is safe.
