Foxit Tools Enhance Microsoft Server and Sharepoint Installations
Fremont, Calif. - August 15, 2009 - Foxit Corporation, a leading provider of solutions for reading, creating, organizing and securing PDF documents, today announced the release of Foxit PDF Security Suite 1.0 software for Microsoft Active Directory® Rights Management Services (AD RMS), software that significantly enhances the security and functionality of PDF documents residing in Microsoft Windows Server Systems™ and Sharepoint® Services. Foxit PDF Security Suite provides the first cost-effective solution for extending enterprise-ready AD RMS protection to the PDF file format. Foxit PDF Security Suite includes Foxit Policy Manager, Foxit PDF Secure RMS Protector, and Foxit RMS PDF Reader, enabling organizations with complete security and access rights for their PDF documents.
Foxit PDF Security Suite can be purchased through volume licensing for as little as $10 per user. A variety of licensing, service and support options are available through Foxit’s worldwide sales offices.

Foxit’s PDF Security Suite users can create policies to control permissions for viewing, copying, editing and printing of PDF files .Selective enablement of PDF features allow a user, based on their AD RMS profile, to view the contents of a PDF, extract text and images, modify contents, as well as print, add, or modify a document’s contents. Selective enablement also provides business features including digital signatures and forms fill-out. Audit and logging features included Foxit Security Suite aid organizations in achieving compliance goals.
